Between 2008 and 2011 I have worked on the Vodafone “Time is Now” platform to come up with ideas to create store traffic.
The strategy we came up with was to create a series of calendar events in which consumers could go to the Vodafone stores to receive gifts, participate in promotions or attend a special event.
In order to do that we partnered with a series of brands consistent to the target and the season/type of celebration and we produced special items to attract the public.
Xmas gifts, summer promos, Easter competition: Whatever the action, it could only be triggered in-store.
I took care of the strategy, came up with ideas for partners and create a yearly creative plan.
According to the plan, we launched: Xmas is Now, Love is Now (St. Valentine’s Day) Easter is Now, Summer is Now and many others. Each time, with a different price or giveaway by the co-marketer.
